Another submission for #TechnicallyAChallenge, this time the theme was: 'Underwater' and my instant inspiration were Niels Dewitte's wonderful spheres
So my approach was pretty simple I needed something for variety in the background, so simple smokes should do and for fish I've thought for a while, but in the end got a really simple solution.
Normally fish or any other simple beings are animated using vertex shader and sine wave, though isn't turbulance similar due to it using a certain noise? So I just made simple particle strips and added turbulance to it.
And I do love the result :P

(It's hard to record it in a good quality tho...)
